How you can help...

Purchasing Art

All the art on the website that does not have a sold sign next to the number of the project is for sale.

The funds raised from the sale of the original projects have historically been split up by percentages. 50% is given to the school to help develop its art program. 25% goes to cover the cost of the project and to help develop the project. The last 25% goes to the artist to use for a constructive activity or need.

Student-Artist who participate in the project at the Trash-Art Lab are encouraged by the organizer to try to sell their work. The students are working to make art that can attract people who are interested in investing in their future.

All people interested in purchasing the art should email info@anotherpersonstreasure.org or call (678) 936-2606 to speak with the project organizer.

Commissioning Anotherpersonstreasure.org Artists

If you, your business, or organization is interested in owning a piece of art not yet created, you may commission Anotherpersonstreasure.org to work with you on developing your idea.

Anotherpersonstreaure.org will make an art piece for you and/or with you.

You may also support the project by sponsoring children to participate in the project. Materials typically are about $10 a project.

Help with the Practical Side of the Project

The project organizer is looking for help from people who would like to participate in marketing the project. This includes speaking with people who may be interested in supporting the project and scheduling events, as well as helping to transport the art to the event.

We need help developing the marketing and organizational/business plan for anotherpersonstreasure.org. We encourage suggestions of possible funders, including grant opportunities.

We need help developing the website and the connectivity of the website.

The project organizer is very interested in all suggestions and invitations from organizations and event organizers.

“...arts education strengthens student problem-solving and critical thinking skills, adding to overall academic achievement and school success. Plus, it gives students a deeper appreciation of the world round them.” Americans for the Arts Action Fund

“The Fact is: arts education makes a tremendous impact on the developmental growth of every child, and has proven to help “level the learning field” across socio-economic boundaries. Art also has proven to make a measurable impact on at-risk youth by deterring delinquent behavior and trauancy problems while also increasing overall academic performance.” Americans for the Arts Action Fund
